Better Town is currently configured to use essential cookies only. We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels, heatmaps, or third-party analytics cookies in the pilot.
Cookies we use
- Private preview access: stores whether a reviewer has entered the correct pilot access code.
- Authentication/session cookies: used by the authentication provider to keep users signed in and protect account flows.
- Security and continuity cookies: used where needed for invite continuity, account security, and requested user settings.
Why there is no cookie banner
Because the current pilot uses only cookies needed to provide the requested service, we explain them here instead of showing a consent banner. If we add analytics, advertising, heatmaps, or other non-essential cookies, we should ask for consent before those tools run.
